1. When should I arrive in Malaysia?

We recommend arriving on August 4th to give yourself time to adjust before the celebrations begin. The wedding events are on August 5th in Kuala Terengganu and August 9th in Langkawi.


2. Which airlines can I use to get to Malaysia?

Several international airlines operate flights to Kuala Lumpur (KLIA - Kuala Lumpur International Airport):

Etihad Airways (via Abu Dhabi)

Kuala Terengganu Wedding (August 5th): Light, elegant attire suitable for warm and humid weather.


6. What is the weather like in August?

Expect warm and humid temperatures between 25-33°C (77-91°F). There may be occasional rain showers, especially in Kuala Lumpur and Langkawi.


7. Do I need any vaccinations?

No mandatory vaccinations are required, but Hepatitis A, Typhoid, and routine vaccines (MMR, Tetanus, etc.) are recommended. Consult your doctor for travel health advice.


9. What currency is used in Malaysia?

The currency is Malaysian Ringgit (MYR). Credit cards are widely accepted, but having some cash is useful for smaller vendors.
